Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, issued a stark warning, stating that a third world war would erupt if Russia emerged victorious in the ongoing conflict
Bulgaria's Prime Minister, Boyko Borisov, had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on Thursday.
"Our government is currently inspecting the contracts that we have made for the energy projects," Borisov told Putin, according to the press service of the Bulgarian government.
The two Prime Ministers have agreed to continue the active dialogue on the three joint energy projects - the South Stream gas pipeline, the Burgas-Alexandroupolis gas pipeline, and the Belene Nuclear Power Plant - and to accelerate the work of the bilateral experts' groups on them.
Borisov has suggested that the meeting of the Inter-governmental working committee on the projects, which is supposed to the meet in November in Russia, should meet earlier in the fall in Sofia, with Borisov himself participating in the meeting.
The two Prime Ministers, Borisov and Putin, have also expressed their desire to meet in person as soon as that becomes possible.
