Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Rumiana Jeleva has unofficially announced her three deputies, stressing the huge reduction in the department administration.

"Marin Raykov, Kalin Borisov and Milen Lyutskanov will be deputies in the Foreign Ministry," Jeleva told the morning broadcast of Nova TV channel.

Experts and businessmen, not political figures, have reportedly been invited as deputy ministers in Bulgaria's new center-right government of GERB party, some of whom were presented on Thursday.

In line with his vow to cut down the bloated administration, save on government expenses and cull ministries, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has limited the number of deputy ministers up to three.

Minister Jeleva pointed out that the reduction in the Foreign Ministry is huge as it took over the European affairs following the closure of this ministerial post by the new prime minister Boyko Borisov.
