The rightist Blue Coalition never requested ministerial posts, but wanted to have experts in the new cabinet in order to have some control over the situation.
The statement was made Tuesday by the Blue Coalition co-Chair and leader of the Union of Democratic Forces (UDF), Martin Dimitrov.
"We never made any requests and never had any conditions for GERB," Dimitrov said, adding blanket support for the elections' winner Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) party would not be possible.
The UDF leader reiterated the Blue Coalition will support the cabinet nominations but further backup would depend on the quality of parliamentary proposals.
Dimitrov pointed out the GERB model was not seen by them as a guarantee for stability and the staunch support for the GERB memorandum on the part of the far-right, nationalist "Ataka" party had already caused alarm with the European People's Party.
