The second case of swine flu in Bulgaria's Veliko Tarnovo region has been confirmed by the country's Health Ministry.

A 14-year-old boy from Veliko Tarnovo has been confirmed to have the A/H1N1 virus and is being kept in isolation. He is reported to have returned from England at the start of July. Doctors reported that the boy is recovering fast.

Elsewhere a 1-year-old baby is being kept under inspection with suspected swine flu in Dupnitsa. The baby recently returned with their parents from Portugal.

With the confirmed new case the Bulgarian Health Ministry has now confirmed a total of 14 cases of swine flu in the country.
