The heating, electric power and natural gas prices are going down in Bulgaria beginning Wednesday.
The State Regulator - State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (DKEVR) established the final prices in effect from July 1.
The new prices, however, lead to stark increase of the night energy rates for some consumers as well as a much higher energy bills for small and medium manufacturers.
The natural gas prices go down 33% on July 1 and will remain at this level at least for the next three months leading to lower hot water and heating bills in the beginning of the winter season.
The lowest heating bills will be enjoyed by the residents of the northern city of Pleven - 23% down. In Sofia the residential heating prices are 13% down with an average decrease for the country between 10% and 20%.
The Regulator's Head, Konstantin Shushulov, stated the lower heating prices might be maintained all through the winter.
Beginning Wednesday consumers will also have lower electric power bills - 1% to 3% down, but the night rates go up anywhere between 0,4% in northeastern Bulgaria to 10% up in the southwestern parts of the country.
Industrial electric power prices are up between 5% and 15%.
