Five people have been injured as a building collapsed in the Boyana Quarter of the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

The collapsed building is located at 18 Belovodski Pat Street in Boyana, and was still under construction.

The accident occurred after a concrete platform cracked and broke into pieces under the weight of the construction materials. It also brought down the scaffolding on the same side of the building.

The five injured people have been hospitalized. Their lives are not in danger. The exact causes of the accident are under investigation.
