A fifty-year-old man has broken a window at the main entrance of the Bulgarian parliament, police said on Friday.

The man has been identified as Rumen Borisov Popov. Police says he has a criminal record, but refused to disclose his wrongdoings.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 am on Friday morning. Popov was detained by guards of the National Security Service.
