Jean-Pierre Goiran, an expert in the organization and management of the special services in France, has been appointed adviser in Bulgaria's Interior Ministry.
His term will officially start on August 1, until when the expert will make researches and analyses of the situation in Bulgaria.
"It is an honor for me to be part of the changes, which will reform the Bulgarian police to that it meet the European requirements," Jean-Pierre Goiran said at his meeting with Interior Minister Mihail Mikov.
According to him the Bulgarian police has set itself very ambitious goals and short deadlines, which makes it a leading European examples.
The French already has experience in working with the Bulgarian projects after taking part in the project for reforming the guard police.
