A suspicious stain appeared Saturday afternoon in Black Sea waters near Varna's "South Beach."

The stain has an estimated 30-meter diameter while parts of it have already reached the "Mr. Baba" restaurant near the Black Sea capital's Maritime Port.

The contamination has been noticed around 1 pm. A team from the city's "Civil Defense" is investigation the cause of the pollution, which is believed to be an oil spill.

The area of the stain has been sealed.
