IT Giant HP Opens Tech Lab in Business Park Sofia
American IT giant Hewlett-Packard, one of the biggest investors in Bulgaria, has opened a hi-tech lab in Bulgaria.
Bulgaria's Cabinet decided Thursday to set aside another BGN 3 M to support the Business Park Sofia project.
The money will be used to finance the final construction stage of the road, plumbing and water supply infrastructure to be executed by the German Lindner Holding, represented in Bulgaria by Rosen Plevneliev.
The Business Park itself is already completed and the total investment amount is estimated at BGN 162,3 M.
The project was the first one ever to receive a First Class Investment Certificate back in 2005, when the Cabinet decided to give nearly BGN 4 M for the infrastructure.
In 2006 the Business Park was acquired by the US Gremercy for EUR 180 M.
