There weren't any Bulgarians among the passengers of the Airbus A330 that disappeared over the Atlantic Monday in route from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.

Until now, the Foreign Ministry abstained to officially state the information about Bulgarian passengers on flight AF 447.

The Brazilian authorities announced Tuesday that Prince Pedro Luis de Orleans e Braganza, a relative of Bulgaria's former Tsar and Prime Minister, Simeon Saxe-Coburg, was among the passengers of the missing plane.

Most of the missing people are Brazilian or French but they include a total of 32 nationalities. Five Britons and three Irish citizens are among them.

In the mean time, the Brazilian government has confirmed that debris spotted by planes in waters 650 km off Brazil's coast belongs to the missing French airliner.
