A new natural gas crisis might start next week over a Ukrainian delay in paying for the Russian gas it imports.

The Ukrainian Naftogaz is supposed to pay by next week for the Russian gas it received in May, the Pari Daily reported.

Despite all European countries, which pay for the Russian gas in advance, the Ukraine pays after the gas is delivered.

Russia's PM, Vladimir Putin, and the management of the State owned Gazprom have already called upon the European Union to help the Ukraine pay for the gas.

However, the EU has said that currently this is not possible.
