Around 200 earthquakes with an epicenter near the Bulgarian-Macedonian-Greek borders have been registered since Sunday afternoon.
The shakes had a magnitude of between 2 and 5,4 on the Richter scale, the Geophysical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences reported.
The epicenter of the quakes has been around the Doiran Lake at the Macedonian-Greek border.

The most powerful ones have been felt in many South-West Bulgarian cities, including the Capital Sofia.
The first earthquake felt in Sofia was registered at 7.18 pm on Sunday. Its magnitude was 5.2 on the Richter scale, followed five minutes later by a lighter one - 4,2.
Since then several shakes have been felt in the Bulgarian capital, and even in some Eastern cities, like Plovdiv.
Partial destructions of buildings, panic, and fright are the results of the numerous quakes.
There is serious damage to houses in the region. However, no casualties have been reported.
The Macedonian government has not issued any official information so far.
