Bulgaria does not need direct financial support from the international financial institutions.

Bulgaria's PM, Sergey Stanishev, stated this on Tuesday during a meeting with the Slovenian President, Danilo Turk.

The Slovanian President is on an official visit in Bulgaria, on the official invitation of Bulgaria's President, Georgi Parvanov, the government press office reported.

Currently, there is no need for revising the Bulgarian budget, PM Stanishev also said.

"The Bulgarian bank system remained stable, while there were many bankruptcies in other countries", he added.

Turk is in Bulgaria on the special invitation of Bulgaria President Georgi Parvanov.
