A third light earthquake in less than twelve hours has been registered in the region of Kardzhali, Southern Bulgaria.

The tremor was with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale and struck at 9.35 am local time.

There were no reports of casualties or damages.

Two light earthquakes rattled southern Bulgaria late on Wednesday, causing no damage or casualties.

The earthquakes measured 2.7 on the Richter scale with an epicentre 200 kilometers southeast of Sofia.

The tremors struck at 9.37 pm and 10.06 pm local time and were felt in the southern Bulgarian region of Kardzhali.
