An elderly man went into a cardiac arrest and died during the presentation of a book written by Bulgaria's Prime Minister, Sergey Stanishev.
The PM and leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), who is visiting the city of Burgas Sunday, appeared in person before a crowd of supporters to present his recent book "Because We Are Socialists."
The tragic incident occurred just minutes after the beginning of the presentation in the "East" Hall of the Burgas Free University.
The man, reportedly, collapsed on the ground and was immediately assisted by two female doctors, members of BSP, who have been there to attend the meeting with their leader.
The Burgas Emergency Room ambulance arrived shortly after, but the ER doctor told Stanishev that he could not do anything to revive the man, who already did not have a pulse prior to their appearance.
