The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has sent his Bulgarian counterpart, Sergey Stanishev, a greeting address on the occasion of Bulgaria's National Holiday and the 131st anniversary of the country's Liberation from Ottoman dominance.
"I note with deep satisfaction the constructive character of the Russian-Bulgarian collaboration, founded on the traditional friendship and the cultural and spiritual closeness of our people," the address states.
